Investigation opened against a 14-year-old for sexual assault in Thessaloniki

Police in Thessaloniki, Greece, have opened a case file against a 14-year-old boy following an allegation of rape. A 15-year-old girl, an Albanian national, reported that the boy, also an Albanian national, forced her into non-consensual sexual acts last December. The victim further alleged that the perpetrator recorded the incident on video. Authorities from the Thessaloniki Minor Protection Sub-directorate initiated the investigation. Digital devices were confiscated from the suspect's residence as part of the evidence gathering process. These devices have been sent to the North Greece Forensic Science Sub-directorate for laboratory examination.
