ECM Partners acquires Limassol Ophthalmic Center for Ygia Group

Investment firm ECM Partners has completed the acquisition of the Limassol Ophthalmic Center, the largest specialized day-care ophthalmic clinic in Cyprus. The facility has been rebranded as Ygia Vision and is now integrated into the Ygia Group. This acquisition continues the group's expansion strategy, following the purchase of Ygia Hospital in 2023 and the integration of Eden Medical Center, which now operates as Ygia Larnaca. Savvas A. Liasis, President of ECM Partners, stated that the acquisition is part of a long-term strategy to consolidate specialized healthcare services under a single entity. Polyvios Dionisiou, CEO of Ygia Group, emphasized that the move aims to create a more integrated and interconnected healthcare system. The group is rebranding its units under a unified corporate identity to strengthen its position as the largest private healthcare provider in Cyprus. The expansion includes services in inpatient care, rehabilitation, and palliative care.
