Fatal altercation involving a 47-year-old man in Kouloura, Imathia

On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 7, a fatal incident occurred in Kouloura, Imathia. Shortly before 16:00, a 47-year-old man engaged in a heated argument with two Romani individuals residing in the area. The confrontation escalated physically, leading the 47-year-old to punch one of the individuals. He subsequently produced a knife and stabbed the second man in the chest, resulting in his death. Police units from the Hellenic Police (EL.AS) arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. The suspect was apprehended and arrested by the officers. The other individual involved in the altercation, who suffered injuries during the fight, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Hellenic Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and causes surrounding the event.
