Construction of sewage networks continues in Limassol and Palodeia
The Limassol District Self-Government Organization (EOA) is advancing the construction of sewage and stormwater networks in both governmental housing estates and the community of Palodeia. In Palodeia, the project is valued at 9.5 million euros excluding VAT, with approximately 7.3 kilometers of sewage pipes already installed. Construction in Palodeia affects numerous streets, including Eleftherias Avenue, where work is currently focused to connect the Avenita area to the existing public network. Simultaneously, sewage projects are proceeding in governmental settlements in Kato and Pano Polemidia, specifically on 19th, 20th, and 21st Streets. Similar works are underway in the Mouttagiaka settlement, targeting Eleftherias, Apostolou Andrea, Agiou Fanouriou, and Archbishop Makariou streets. The EOA acknowledges that these major infrastructure projects may cause temporary inconveniences for residents and drivers. The agency has requested public patience, noting that the completed systems are designed to meet local needs for the coming decades.
