AEK Larnaca concludes pre-season training in the Netherlands

AEK Larnaca has returned to Cyprus following their main pre-season training camp in the Netherlands under coach Mauro Camoranesi. The team played three friendly matches, including a 2-1 win against Helmond Sport, a 2-3 loss to PAOK, and a 0-1 defeat to Ajax. Regarding player fitness, striker Riad Bajic suffered a mild sprain during the Ajax match but is expected to return soon. Nicolas Andereggen is undergoing an individual recovery program to address physical exhaustion and may miss the upcoming friendly against Apollon Limassol on July 16 at the Alphamega Stadium. Meanwhile, defender Godswill Ekpolo is nearing full fitness and may feature in the match against Apollon. The club is finalizing its preparations for the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round matches against Beitar Jerusalem scheduled for July 23 and 30.
