Two individuals arrested in Limassol in connection with bronze sculpture theft
Police in Limassol have arrested a 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman in connection with the theft of a bronze sculpture. The theft was reported on June 24, 2026, by Philippos Yapanis. Following an investigation, arrest warrants were issued for the two suspects. On July 6, 2026, police patrolling a village in the Limassol district spotted the individuals. A subsequent check revealed that the vehicle they were traveling in had been reported stolen in the Paphos district on June 22, 2026. The suspects appeared before the Limassol District Court, which ordered their detention for seven days. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) is continuing the examination of the case.
