BYD opens third dealership at Metropolis Mall in Cyprus

BYD has launched its third dealership in Cyprus, located at the Metropolis Mall in Larnaca. This expansion was carried out by the Alpan Group, which acts as the official distributor of BYD in the country and is a member of the Sfakianakis Group. According to the company, BYD ranked first in cumulative registrations for New Energy Vehicles, including both Battery Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles, during the first five months of 2026. Data indicates that the BYD SEAL U DM-i model is currently the most popular plug-in hybrid in the local market. The new facility serves as both an exhibition space and an information center regarding the brand's electric and hybrid technologies. Visitors to the store are provided with access to specialized sales consultants and the opportunity to conduct test drives. This investment is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its infrastructure and customer experience across the island.
