Protaras summer film festival returns for 2026

The annual Protaras Summer Film Festival is scheduled to take place from July 8 to July 26, 2026, at the Municipal Events Square in Protaras, Cyprus. Organized by the Paralimni Youth, the event will feature a total of 28 free outdoor screenings, including family-friendly animations and Hollywood blockbusters. The program begins on July 8 with the film Avatar: Fire & Ash, followed by Project Hail Mary on July 9. On weekdays from Monday to Thursday, screenings start at 21:00, while weekend sessions are scheduled for 20:00 and 22:00. Animated features for families will be dubbed in Greek, including titles such as Zootopia 2, Smurfs, and The Bad Guys 2.
