Cyprus beer deliveries decreased in June 2026

The Statistical Service of Cyprus reported that total beer deliveries from factories in June 2026 reached 4,716,070 liters, representing a 2.7% decrease compared to 4,846,927 liters in June 2025. Domestic market deliveries fell by 0.8% to 4,564,749 liters during the same period. Exports experienced a significant decline of 38.3%, dropping to 151,321 liters from 245,087 liters in the previous June. Despite the year-on-year decline, total beer deliveries showed a monthly increase of 7.4%, or 326,421 liters, compared to May 2026. The Statistical Service data highlights that lower export volumes were a primary factor in the annual reduction. Overall, the industry faced a downward trend in annual figures while showing signs of recovery on a monthly basis.
