Alfa Dionkou agrees to transfer to NK Celje

The 24-year-old right-back Alfa Dionkou has reached a definitive agreement to join the Slovenian club NK Celje. This transfer follows the expiration of his contract with Omonia, where he played for two years and made 83 appearances. During his time at Omonia, Dionkou contributed to the team's championship title win last season. At Celje, Dionkou is expected to replace Zan Karnicnik, who is reportedly transferring to Maribor. Omonia, having failed to renew with Dionkou, has secured Loic Nego as a replacement. The move is considered finalized with an official announcement expected shortly.
