Democratic Rally party announces internal leadership changes and government oversight assessment

The Democratic Rally (DISY) party has officially appointed Larnaca MP Prodromos Alampritis as the new Deputy Parliamentary Representative. Alampritis was re-elected in May with 7,297 preferential votes, marking the highest individual count for the party in the Larnaca district. The party also held a session of its Government Work Monitoring Council, chaired by DISY President Annita Demetriou. During this session, the council reviewed its progress and discussed future priorities and strategic planning. The party noted that several council members have taken on new positions, including Nikoletta Konstantinou in Parliament, Miltos Miltiadous leading OSAK, and Giannos Pantazis heading PASYXE. Coordinator Michalis Ioannidis emphasized the council's ongoing commitment to evidence-based analysis and political formulation.
