Actress Ioanna Pilichou reports attempted assault by a doctor

Greek actress Ioanna Pilichou recently disclosed a traumatic experience from her past during an interview on the online show Rainbow Mermaids. Pilichou stated that when she was 18 years old, a doctor attempted to assault her. She claimed that she managed to escape the situation by utilizing athletic skills she acquired from her training in track and field. According to her testimony, she successfully fled the room by jumping over two beds. The actress noted that at the time of the incident, she felt that victims were unlikely to be believed, particularly when facing individuals in positions of power. She credited the #MeToo movement with creating a cultural environment where such testimonies are now more likely to be heard and taken seriously. In the same interview, Pilichou also briefly discussed her past experiences working in the nightlife and hospitality sectors.
