Olympiacos defeats Rakow 2-1 in Dutch training camp friendly

Olympiacos played its first pre-season friendly match against Polish club Rakow in the Netherlands. The match took place at the team's training camp as part of their preparations for the upcoming season and Champions League qualifiers. Rakow, which features Stratos Svarnas and finished fourth in the Polish league last season, took the lead in the second half. Olympiacos responded with an equalizer from a direct free kick by Kostas Fortounis. Roman Yaremchuk scored the winning goal in the final minutes following a double effort. Manager Jose Luis Mendilibar used the match to test different personnel and formations. The event was attended by local fans with tickets priced at 7.50 euros.
