Bank of Cyprus and Wealthyhood launch co-branded investment platform

The Bank of Cyprus and the European wealth-tech startup Wealthyhood have launched a co-branded investment mobile app and web platform, accessible to all residents of Cyprus. This initiative follows the Bank of Cyprus's role as the lead investor in Wealthyhood's €6 million funding round earlier this year. While the platform is open to all Cypriot residents, existing customers of the Bank of Cyprus benefit from accelerated identity verification and streamlined account funding through direct bank account linkage. The partnership aims to combine Wealthyhood's digital investment technology with the Bank of Cyprus's financial infrastructure. According to Wealthyhood CEO Alexandros Christodoulakis, the collaboration serves as enterprise-level validation of the startup's technology. Both companies have stated their intention to introduce additional benefits and integrate further products as the partnership evolves. The platform is designed to simplify the onboarding process for new users.
