Olympiacos signs Portuguese winger Jota Silva on loan

Olympiacos FC has officially announced the signing of 27-year-old Portuguese midfielder and winger Jota Silva. The player joins the Greek club on a loan deal from Nottingham Forest. The agreement includes a purchase option for the Piraeus-based team. Born on August 1, 1999, in Melres, Silva has previously played for clubs including Pacos Ferreira, Leixoes, Casa Pia, and Vitoria Guimaraes. In the 2023-2024 season, he recorded 15 goals and 7 assists before moving to Nottingham Forest. Most recently, he played on loan at Besiktas in Turkey, where he made 22 appearances and scored 5 goals. Jota Silva has represented the Portuguese national team twice and possesses experience from both the Portuguese top flight and the Premier League.
