Cyprus Football Association changes its judicial structure
The Board of Directors of the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) decided to implement structural changes to its judicial bodies during a meeting held today. The primary goal of these reforms is to modernize processes and ensure a more effective administration of justice. Under the new regulations, the role of the individual sports judge is being replaced by a three-member judicial committee that will adjudicate referred cases. Furthermore, the office of the disciplinary prosecutor is being replaced by a three-member prosecutorial committee. This new prosecutorial body will be responsible for preparing the referrals to be heard by the judicial committee. The members of both newly formed committees will be appointed at a later date. All appointed officials will serve a two-year term. These changes represent a significant organizational shift in how the federation handles disciplinary matters.
