Meeting held at presidential palace regarding infrastructure projects in Paphos
A meeting took place at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia to discuss the progress of major infrastructure projects in the Paphos district. The session followed an initiative by the President of the Republic and a formal request from the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBE Paphos). High-level officials attended, including the Government Spokesman and several cabinet ministers. Discussions covered ongoing projects such as the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road, the Tombs of the Kings-Coral Bay road, the Paphos western bypass, and the Paphos marina. Additionally, two new projects were reviewed: shoreline protection in Paphos and Yeroskipou, and the road connection between Paphos Airport and the Ezousa river roundabout. EBE Paphos leadership requested binding deadlines for all projects and proposed the appointment of designated officers to ensure accountability. While EBE Paphos officials emphasized that previous deadlines have not been met, the government provided updates on the current status of each development.
