Sokratis Famellos resigns as leader of SYRIZA

Sokratis Famellos has announced his resignation from the position of president of the SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance party. Famellos described his goal as transforming the party into a unified, progressive force capable of competing in future parliamentary elections. While he outlined his achievements in restoring financial and institutional stability, his tenure was relatively brief, leaving the party once again in a leadership transition period.
