Two arrests made in connection with 2010 Marfin bank arson

Greek authorities have arrested two individuals in connection with the deadly arson attack on the Marfin bank in Athens. The incident took place on May 5, 2010, during a protest, resulting in the deaths of three employees. The operation is being conducted by the Organized Crime Prosecution Division. Officials have confirmed that arrest warrants were issued for those involved. In addition to the two suspects currently in custody, police are actively seeking a third suspect, a woman, for whom an arrest warrant has also been issued. Investigations into the case remain ongoing sixteen years after the tragedy. The authorities are continuing their search to locate and apprehend the remaining individual.
