AEK and Omonia hold final pre-season friendly matches
AEK Larnaca is scheduled to play its third and final friendly match in the Netherlands against Ajax at 19:00, serving as a key test for coach Mauro Camoranesi. The match aims to evaluate team readiness ahead of European qualifiers against Beitar Jerusalem, scheduled for July 23 and 30. Players Saborit, Andereggen, and Ekpolo are doubtful due to fitness issues and may be rested for the July 16 game against Apollon at Alphamega Stadium. Meanwhile, Omonia is holding its final friendly in Poland against Korona Kielce, also at 19:00. The match between Omonia and Korona Kielce is set to last 120 minutes following a mutual agreement between the coaching staffs to maximize player assessment. The starting lineup for Omonia includes Fabiano, Odubajo, Coulibaly, Panagiotou, Balkovec, Andreou, Eiting, Evandro, Christou, Mondnor, and Kakoullis.
