Tufan Erhurman hospitalized following health concerns in Northern Cyprus
Tufan Erhurman, a Turkish Cypriot political leader, was transported to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoglu Hospital in Nicosia after feeling unwell during an art exhibition opening. The event, titled 'The Public Memory of Painting,' took place at the old presidential building. While initial reports cited chest pain, a subsequent official statement from the presidential office attributed the incident to a drop in blood pressure. Medical professionals performed blood tests and diagnostic examinations as a precaution. Dr. Hasan Birtan, the deputy director of the hospital, confirmed that Erhurman was admitted to the cardiology clinic for observation. Official sources stated that his general health condition remains good. He continues to undergo necessary medical monitoring following the incident.
