PAOK signs Cedi Osman in three-year deal
PAOK basketball club has signed Turkish forward Cedi Osman to a three-year contract valued at 9 million euros. The agreement requires PAOK to pay a 2 million euro buyout fee to Panathinaikos. The transfer followed a statement from Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos confirming the player's departure. Despite reported interest from Turkish clubs, Osman chose to join the Thessaloniki-based team. During the previous season with Panathinaikos, Osman averaged 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in the EuroLeague. The move is expected to significantly bolster the team's roster quality and experience under coach Trinchieri. The financial terms represent a major investment for the Greek basketball market.
