New European regulations for take-away coffee containers

New European regulations mandate that HORECA sector businesses (hotels, restaurants, and catering) must allow customers to use their own containers for take-away coffee starting in 2027. Businesses cannot refuse these personal containers unless they are considered dirty or unsuitable for food contact. They are required to inform customers about accepted container types and must have methods to measure coffee quantities accurately.
