Nicosia Mall and KEMA building evacuated following email threats
On Saturday afternoon, police in Nicosia carried out evacuations at the Nicosia Mall and the KEMA building after receiving two threatening emails. Security units were deployed to both locations to secure the perimeters and conduct systematic inspections. During the operation, shoppers at the Nicosia Mall were temporarily locked inside retail stores as a safety precaution. Following the inspections, police determined there was no active danger and lifted the emergency protocols. Citizens were informed that they could safely resume their activities at the mall shortly after the situation was assessed.
