Fire reported at residential parking in Agia Marina due to spontaneous combustion

On the morning of the incident at 07:50, the Cyprus Fire Service responded to a fire at a ground-floor parking area of a two-story residence in the community of Agia Marina. Two fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to handle the situation. The fire originated in a pile of cloths soaked in linseed oil, which then spread to a small stack of wood and some household equipment. The blaze caused minor damage to the paint of the masonry. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire shortly after their arrival. An official investigation was conducted to determine the cause. Authorities concluded that the incident was the result of spontaneous combustion.
