Charles Appiah transfers to Dunav Ruse

Ghanaian forward Charles Appiah has officially transferred to the Bulgarian club Dunav Ruse. The 20-year-old player leaves APOEL Nicosia after failing to establish a significant role within the team's roster. Appiah joined APOEL in the summer of 2024 as an 18-year-old prospect, but his two-year stint concluded without substantial competitive output. Sources indicate he is the second player under contract to depart from APOEL recently, following the exit of Ba. In Bulgaria, he will be joined by Kyriakos Antoniou, who transferred from Akritas. The move is intended to provide Appiah with more playing time and an opportunity to restart his professional career.
