Fatal fire at a Bangkok nightclub
A fire broke out early Monday morning at the Rog Beer Na Lat Phrao pub in the Chatuchak district of Bangkok, Thailand. According to officials cited by the Associated Press, the blaze resulted in at least 27 deaths, while other reports have suggested a death toll as high as 29. Emergency services were alerted shortly after midnight, encountering chaotic scenes as patrons attempted to escape the flames through the main entrance. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control in approximately 30 minutes. Several injured individuals were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.
