Weekly Cypriot cultural event at Columbia Beach Resort

Columbia Beach Resort hosts a weekly event called 'Cyprus Night' every Wednesday from 19:00 to 22:00. The event takes place on the West Lawns of the resort and is open to both residents and visiting guests. The evening features a buffet serving traditional dishes such as spit-roasted meat, sheftalia, beef stifado, and halloumi. Vegetarian and side dish options include kolokasi, pourgouri, and halloumi ravioli, followed by traditional desserts like galaktoboureko and fresh loukoumades. The musical entertainment is provided by the ensemble 'Ta Sgartilia', consisting of musicians Michalis Vryonis and Prodromos Stylianou. Guests staying in Half Board or Full Board packages have participation included in their stay. The program focuses on promoting the musical and culinary heritage of the island.
