Lidl Cyprus announces annual compensation and benefit structure
Lidl Cyprus has announced the payment of a summer bonus to all employees, equivalent to half a monthly salary, distributed alongside the June payroll. This payment complements the annual salary structure, which includes a total of 14 salaries per year, consisting of a Christmas bonus and an additional half-salary paid at Easter. Sofia Ouzounidou, Chief People Officer, stated that these payments are part of a broader compensation framework intended to support staff. The company maintains an entry-level gross salary of 1,220 euros per month for full-time employees, which corresponds to 7.41 euros per hour. This rate increases to 1,330 euros per month, or 8.10 euros per hour, after two years of service. Beyond base salaries, the company provides seasonal vouchers and training programs such as Lidl UP. Furthermore, Lidl Cyprus has received the Top Employer certification for the ninth consecutive year.
