Assault on three foreign nationals in Polis Chrysochous

Late Sunday night, three foreign nationals riding a scooter in Polis Chrysochous were attacked by an occupant of a passing jeep. According to Paphos Police, the assailant used a club to strike one of the victims on the head, causing them to fall onto the road. The three individuals were transported to the hospital as a precaution, where no serious physical injuries were identified. Local authorities are currently investigating the incident by reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements to identify the perpetrators. The victims stated that they chose a secondary road because they had previously experienced similar attacks on the main road and feared for their safety. Furthermore, their employers have expressed concern regarding the handling of past incidents and are calling on the authorities to take more effective action against such violence.
