Cypriot and Greek authorities are awaiting official confirmation regarding the reported arrest of a suspect known as Endik in Dubai, where he has been allegedly under house arrest. Endik is suspected of leading a gang of Russian and Ukrainian origin involved in criminal activities, including the execution of Greek Mafia members and extortion rackets in Cyprus. Warrants for his arrest were issued by both Greek and Cypriot authorities, with the latter dating back to May 2026. Following a police operation in Limassol and Paphos in May, investigators linked him to criminal associates operating in the region. Russian authorities have reportedly contacted the Greek government regarding the suspect, identifying him as a Russian citizen and requesting that his rights and physical safety be protected should he be extradited.
