Bison attacks elderly man at Yellowstone National Park
Last Friday, a man was severely injured after being attacked by a bison at Yellowstone National Park. The incident occurred while the victim was visiting the park with his grandson and attempting to photograph the animal. According to video footage of the event, the bison became agitated after noticing the pair standing several dozen meters away. The child was able to escape, but the elderly man was pursued by the animal as he attempted to hide behind trees. The bison ultimately caught the man, tossing him nearly three meters into the air with its head. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with approaching wildlife in protected areas. Park authorities continue to warn visitors to maintain a safe distance from all animals.
