Passenger injured after window breaks during Ryanair flight

A 61-year-old Serbian man, Ljubisa Maksimovic, sustained serious injuries during a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen. Approximately 30 to 40 minutes into the flight, a cabin window shattered, causing part of the passenger's body to be sucked toward the opening. Passengers helped pull the man back into the cabin, while his seatbelt is credited with preventing him from being fully ejected. The incident caused oxygen masks to deploy and led to cabin panic. The passenger's wife, Svetlana Maksimovic, stated that she and other passengers provided initial assistance, claiming the cabin crew did not help. The injured man was hospitalized at AHEPA hospital in Greece with severe injuries, including the use of a neck brace. The family reports that they have not yet been contacted by the airline regarding the incident.
