Two people found dead in a car at a garage in Piraeus
On Tuesday, July 14, two individuals were found dead inside a stationary vehicle located in a private garage on Milou Street in Piraeus. The victims were identified as a 28-year-old man and a woman, whose age was reported as either 24 or 27 by different sources. The bodies were discovered by the man's father, who alerted the police and the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB). Responders arriving at the scene confirmed the deaths. Preliminary reports suggest the engine and the air conditioning were left running inside the closed garage, leading to potential asphyxiation by carbon monoxide. Authorities have ruled out criminal activity due to the absence of physical trauma. While initial medical examiner estimates point toward accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, an official forensic investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
