Erling Haaland returns to Norway with taxidermied raccoon after World Cup elimination
Following Norway's elimination in the quarter-finals of the World Cup by England, footballer Erling Haaland returned to his home country. Upon his arrival, photos surfaced showing him carrying a taxidermied raccoon holding a bottle of alcohol, which he held alongside a Dolce & Gabbana bag. The item, known as a 'Whiskey Raccoon', was purchased at Wild Bill’s Western Store in Dallas, Texas. Haaland had visited the store to buy western attire after Norway's victory in the round of 32. The item is reportedly priced at approximately 750 dollars, and subsequent demand led to it selling out online. During his time at the tournament, Haaland gained over 22 million Instagram followers. The footballer humorously captioned the image of the raccoon on social media, claiming the animal followed him home.
