Pafos FC in advanced talks to sign goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki

Pafos FC is in advanced negotiations to acquire 26-year-old Polish goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki on loan from AS Monaco. The club moved to reinforce its goalkeeping position following injuries to Jay Gorter and Charalampos Kyriakidis. Majecki, who joined Monaco from Legia Warsaw in 2020 for approximately 7 million euros, has previously spent time on loan at Cercle Brugge and Stade Brestois. While club officials initially remained cautious regarding the need for new signings, the uncertain status of Gorter's recovery has accelerated the recruitment process. Reports indicate that the deal is nearing completion, although any registration requires a player departure as the club's A-list roster is currently full. Other potential changes, including the status of Derrick Luckassen, remain subject to future squad adjustments. The club previously signed goalkeeper Papastylianou and defender Sammy Mmaee to bolster their roster.
