Alphamega Hypermarkets holds graduation for the fourth class of its butchery academy

Alphamega Hypermarkets has concluded the fourth cycle of its Butchery Academy with a graduation ceremony held at the Discovery Hall of the University of Nicosia. The academy is an eight-week training initiative launched in 2022 in partnership with Intercollege’s Culinary Arts programs and the University of Nicosia’s Training and Development Unit. The curriculum provides free theoretical and practical instruction, with theory taught at Intercollege facilities and practical training conducted at the company's central butchery workshops. Participants who complete the program have the opportunity to receive CyQF/EQF Level 4 certification. Since the program's inception, a total of 48 individuals have successfully completed the training. The initiative aims to address labor market needs and support the butchery profession within the Cypriot food retail sector.
