Investment negotiations continue between Savvas Liasis and APOEL

The investment group led by Savvas Liasis and the management of APOEL are continuing negotiations to transition the football department into a new corporate structure. On July 15, 2026, the investment group issued an official statement confirming their interest remains active, despite the high complexity and the time required for legal, financial, and regulatory compliance. The Cyprus Football Association (KOP) previously indicated that the licensing for a new entity is projected for March 2027, covering the 2027-2028 season, though the club suggests frameworks exist for earlier involvement.
