Konstantinos Petrides appointed as APOEL representative to the Cyprus Football Association

The board of directors of APOEL Football Public Ltd has officially appointed Konstantinos Petrides as the club's representative to the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). Petrides is a former Minister of Finance and Interior, and he currently serves on the advisory committee regarding investment contacts with Savvas Liassis's fund. The appointment follows a prior announcement on May 19 regarding the club's representation strategy. The term of this appointment will last until the conclusion of the current term held by CFA President Charis Loizidis. According to the club, the move aims to maintain an active presence within the federation's decision-making bodies. After this period, the board plans to re-evaluate its stance based on the status of the ongoing investment proposal. APOEL stated that the selection of Petrides holds universal support among relevant stakeholders and the club's management.
