Alphamega to host nutrition and cooking workshop for children

As part of their 'Child, Nutrition & Health' corporate social responsibility program, Alphamega Hypermarkets will host a workshop for children aged eight to 14 on July 22, 2026. The event will take place at the Intercollege premises of the University of Nicosia. Participants are divided into two groups: children from Nicosia and Larnaca will attend from 09:00 to 12:30, while children from Limassol, Paphos, and Paralimni will attend from 13:00 to 16:30. The session includes educational activities on nutrition basics led by the Cyprus Dietetic and Nutrition Association. Following this, the children will participate in a hands-on cooking session guided by chef and brand ambassador Christina Christofi. The initiative aims to teach basic cooking techniques, promote teamwork, and encourage healthy eating habits. The event serves as an educational experience designed to engage children in creative activities.
