Panathinaikos extends contract with Juancho Hernangomez until 2030

Panathinaikos basketball club has officially announced a contract extension with Spanish forward Juancho Hernangomez. The new agreement secures the 31-year-old player's presence with the team until the summer of 2030. Hernangomez, who joined the club in 2023, previously had a contract extending until 2027. Reports indicate that the new deal includes increased salary terms for the player. During his tenure at Panathinaikos, he has played 115 EuroLeague matches, averaging 7.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He has contributed to the team's recent successes, including one EuroLeague title, one Greek League championship, and two Greek Cups. Dimitris Giannakopoulos had previously hinted at the renewal and the player's potential future role as captain on social media.
