Infrastructure upgrades and city revitalization efforts in Paphos

Acting Mayor of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou, announced a minor delay in roadworks on Konia street due to a technical issue at the paving company's facilities, with completion expected by Tuesday. Simultaneously, resurfacing projects are ongoing on several streets, including Oidipodos-Lithinis, Nikolaou Politou, and Iordanou Katsampi. The municipality has completed beautification works at Agios Kendeas Square, including repairs to the Paphos Reserve Commandos Association building. Furthermore, the Agios Antoniou fountain has been reactivated as part of a revitalization plan for the area. Onisiforou officially denied rumors regarding the permanent closure of Agios Antoniou street, describing them as false and outlining plans for its commercial and aesthetic upgrade. Additionally, renovations to neoclassical buildings near the Municipal Hall, such as the Efsveia club, are currently underway to improve municipal services and city aesthetics.
