Paphos municipality implements urban upgrades across city center

The Municipality of Paphos is conducting various renovation projects across the city to improve urban aesthetics and functionality. Recent efforts include repairs to the Agios Kendeas square, specifically the building housing the Paphos Reserve Commandos Association and an ecclesiastical goods store. In the Agios Antoniou area, the municipality has restored the fountain to operation and denied rumors regarding the potential closure of the street. Mayor Angelos Onisiforou characterized such reports as false, stating that the area is part of an active development plan involving infrastructure, lighting, and greenery improvements. Furthermore, the city is renovating the historical Evseveia club building opposite the City Hall and another municipal building to house city services. These projects aim to address long-term neglect and promote economic revitalization. The municipality emphasizes its commitment to upgrading city property and managing commercial spaces more effectively.
