Scheduled road maintenance works on Cyprus motorways

The Public Works Department has announced a series of maintenance operations across several motorways for the week of July 20. On July 20 and 21, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, expansion joint replacement will occur on the Yialia bridge on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway, closing the middle and fast lanes for 800 meters. These works will continue at the same location on July 22 and 23, with the left lane closed. On July 21, between 8:00 PM and 5:30 AM, waste collection will take place between Skarinou and Germasogeia, affecting the fast lane. Additionally, from July 21 to July 23, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, sweeping operations will be conducted on the Limassol-Paphos motorway from the New Hospital interchange to Petra tou Romiou. Drivers are advised to follow temporary traffic signs and exercise caution during these periods. Separate projects for cleaning, pruning, and emergency door installation are also ongoing on the Larnaca-Ammochostos and Larnaca-Kofinou motorways through late July.
