Three-vehicle collision and fire occur outside Nicosia General Hospital

On July 16, 2026, a traffic collision involving three vehicles occurred at the roundabout outside Nicosia General Hospital. Following the impact, a fire broke out in two of the involved private vehicles. According to the Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis, two people sustained injuries in the crash.
