Cyprus betting revenue reaches 360 million euros in first quarter of 2026

The National Betting Authority of Cyprus reported that total gross betting revenue for the first quarter of 2026 reached 360,070,562 euros, representing a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This total consists of 87,084,683 euros from Class A (land-based) betting and 272,985,879 euros from Class B (online) betting. While Class A revenue experienced a marginal decline of 1%, Class B revenue grew by 17% compared to the first quarter of 2025. Player winnings totaled 314,190,402 euros, an increase of 12% year-over-year, with the majority of these payouts coming from Class B at 243,305,293 euros. Total betting levies for both classes amounted to 45,880,160 euros, reflecting an 11% increase over the 41,490,598 euros recorded in the first quarter of 2025. Class A levies decreased by 4% to 16,199,573 euros, while Class B levies reached 29,680,587 euros.
