XM Group funds infrastructure projects in Limassol villages
Following a 5 million euro contribution for the recovery of fire-affected areas in Limassol, XM Group is funding four infrastructure projects to revitalize the region. In the village of Vouni, the company is financing a community park integrated with the historic Venetian water reservoir monument. The park will feature a ground-level area for events, a café on the second level, and a recreation zone on the third level with a climbing wall connecting the two floors. Management of the Vouni park will be handled by the local Community Council. In the village of Agios Amvrosios, the funding covers the construction of a modern 11-a-side football pitch. The sports facility will include artificial turf, professional fencing, a canteen, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities to support local teams and football academies. The projects are intended to support local tourism and foster community cohesion.
