XM Group funds infrastructure projects in Limassol wildfire-affected communities

XM Group has announced the allocation of €5 million to support recovery efforts in areas of Limassol affected by wildfires. As part of this initiative, the company is funding four major infrastructure projects, two of which have been specified. In the village of Vouni, a community park will be constructed, centered around the historic Venetian water reservoir monument. This park will feature three levels including seating areas, a café, and a recreation space with a high climbing wall connecting the first and third levels, to be managed by the Vouni Community Council. Additionally, in the village of Agios Amvrosios, XM Group is funding the construction of a modern 11-a-side football pitch. The sports facility will be equipped with artificial turf, metal mesh fencing, and landscaping to serve local teams and football academies. The projects are intended to revitalize the region and encourage local tourism.
