Omonoia FC target new striker to strengthen attacking line

Omonoia Nicosia is actively seeking a new striker to fill the vacancy left by Ryan Mmaee. The club has officially announced the signing of 33-year-old French forward Loïs Diony on a two-year contract, who has arrived in Cyprus to undergo medical and ergometric tests. Diony, who previously played for Manisa FK in Turkey, chose the number 99 jersey. Simultaneously, reports indicate that the club is evaluating other options to reinforce their squad, including 26-year-old Polish striker Karol Czubak from Motor Lublin. Czubak, who has a contract until 2027, is currently being considered alongside other candidates like Petković and Salsedo. The team must finalize these reinforcements promptly, as they have a 24-hour deadline before their first UEFA Champions League second qualifying round match to register new players.
