Stefanos Tsitsipas has advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP 250 Swiss Open in Gstaad after defeating Arthur Rinderknech with a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The match lasted 1 hour and 41 minutes and marked the first time the Greek tennis player has reached an ATP semi-final in 17 months. Previously, Tsitsipas defeated Ignacio Buse in the opening round (6-4, 6-4) and Jerome Kym in the round of 16 following a match interruption. In the upcoming semi-final, scheduled for Saturday, Tsitsipas is set to face Alexander Shevchenko. He is currently competing for a spot in the final against the winner of the Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Raphael Collignon match. Tsitsipas acknowledged that the altitude at the venue impacts the game, benefiting players with powerful serves.
